The end of the beginning

I had a surprise little surf at Tullan Strand today and the sun even came out for a while. It was the break I needed to clear my mind and calm my soul in preparation for the last leg of studying for my final exam this Thrusday. After which my time as an Environmental Science student at the University of Ulster will come to an end. It’s been an intense few months/years – a 10,000 word dissertation on the wellbeing of fishermen, the fisheries crisis and the impact of marine conservation policies – a 3 day long ‘synoptic’ exam on proposed windfarm developments…I’m so looking forward to bringing all my newly earned knowledge out to the world with me. Exciting times ahead. Will update you on the other side…
