The studies are back on temporary hold and I’m off to the ISA World Surfing Games at Costa da Caparica in Portugal tomorrow morning. Heading in the car with longboard champ John McCurry, team manager and Master champ Stevie Burns and team judge Pascal Devine at 1am – its going to be a nice little squeeze with our umpteen boards strapped to the roof. The Irish team fly out friday morning from Dublin airport at 6am. The competition runs from saturday 11th-19th October with up to 40 teams competing from all over the globe. Exciting times ahead! and the forecast is looking good… keep up to date on the action at http://www.wsg2008.com/ or http://www.isasurf.org/events_08WSG.php
